How can the foil gauge type load cell in use be replaced and solve the stock problem?
Problems we had
The foil gauge type load cell used must be replaced every six months, because the accuracy of the load cell deteriorates due to wear at the tip of the case. Since the size and rated capacity of the foil gauge type load cell differ for each load, if there are multiple facilities, maintenance stock must be provided to match the respective ranges.
Solving Problems
Since the pressure receiving portion of the piezoelectric load sensor is flat, it does not cause plastic deformation and can be used for a long time. The frequency of failures has been dramatically reduced, and maintenance stock can now accommodate 1N～20kN in a single model.
